Global Governance and Security is a newly offered master’s degree programme by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The programme is targeted at political science graduates and, as its name suggests, is focused on security and cybersecurity in international governance.
We were tasked with designing their brand identity, logotype and communication materials to be used online and on site.
Our solution relies on the symbol of the logotype to communicate the subject of the programme. Semiotically, it depicts a shield, the globe and a rotational movement, as to symbolize international communications. Blue and gray were chosen to bring out a sense of security and order. Communication materials like the website and poster serve a functional role, informing their audience about the programme.
